The Camino de Santiago is a network of pilgrimage routes converging on the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, where the tomb of the apostle James is traditionally venerated. The Camino Francés, entering from the Pyrenean pass at Roncesvalles, is the most walked of the routes, covering roughly 780 kilometres across northern Spain. The final stretch from O Cebreiro through Galicia traverses a distinctly green and misty Celtic landscape.
