The Ciudad Encantada is a natural park of limestone karst formations set in the Serranía de Cuenca in Castile-La Mancha. Centuries of weathering have sculpted the dolomitic rock into shapes that resemble bridges, mushrooms, seals, and urban structures, giving the site its name — the Enchanted City. The formations are best photographed in the diffused light of overcast days when contrast is reduced.
