A 170-kilometre signposted wine route through the Vosges foothills between Marlenheim and Thann, linking a succession of medieval walled towns and villages surrounded by Riesling, Gewurztraminer, and Pinot Gris vineyards. Riquewihr and Ribeauvillé retain their complete medieval fortifications and are among the best-preserved wine villages in France. October harvest season brings the greatest viticultural activity, with vendange tractors and wine press aromas throughout.
