Glencoe is a glacially carved valley in the southern Highlands, flanked by towering ridges including the Aonach Eagach to the north and the Three Sisters to the south. The valley floor is threaded by the A82 road and the River Coe, with the dramatic peaks reflected in roadside pools during calm weather. It is a centre for mountaineering, skiing, and some of the most rewarding ridge walks in Scotland.
