Neist Point is the westernmost tip of the Isle of Skye, a dramatic headland with basalt cliffs descending to the Minch. A stepped path descends from the car park to a nineteenth-century lighthouse perched at the cliff edge. The point faces west, offering unobstructed Atlantic sunsets, and is one of the best spots on Skye to observe Minke whales and dolphins moving through the strait.
