A cliff on the island of Magerøya in Finnmark county, rising 307 metres above the Barents Sea and commonly cited as the northernmost point in Europe reachable by road, though the distinction is technically held by the nearby Knivskjellodden cape. A large circular visitor centre is built into the cliff, and a globe sculpture on the plateau has become an iconic symbol of journeys to the far north. Midnight sun is visible from late May to late July without obstruction.
