A mountain road in Rauma municipality that ascends a steep valley wall via eleven hairpin bends, climbing 850 metres over a horizontal distance of roughly nine kilometres. Waterfalls, including the 180-metre Stigfossen, flow beside and beneath sections of the road, which is typically open only from May to October. The National Tourist Route visitor centre at the summit plateau features a cantilevered viewing platform projecting directly over the cascade.
