The Torre Panorâmica is an observation tower in the Costa Azul district of Salvador in northeastern Brazil, a former water tower converted into a viewpoint. Rising about 90 metres, it offers one of the highest public panoramas in the city, taking in the coastline, the bay of All Saints and the sprawling historic and modern districts. A glass lift climbs the shaft to an enclosed gallery at the top. The tower stands out on the flat coastal plain and provides orientation to a city spread along the Atlantic shore.
