The High Roller is a giant observation wheel just off the Las Vegas Strip, completed in 2014 and rising about 168 metres, for years the tallest observation wheel in the world. Its enclosed glass cabins carry riders on a slow rotation lasting around half an hour, with views over the neon corridor of the Strip and the surrounding Mojave desert basin. Part of a pedestrian promenade lined with shops and restaurants, the wheel is brightly lit after dark and offers one of the highest public vantage points along the strip.
