The Fateh Burj is a commemorative victory tower at Chappar Chiri near Mohali in Punjab, completed in 2011 to mark a historic Sikh victory over Mughal forces in the early eighteenth century. Rising about 100 metres, it is among the tallest victory monuments in India, its brick-and-concrete tiers echoing the fortress architecture of the Sikh empire. A lift and stairs climb to a viewing gallery overlooking the surrounding memorial park and plains. The monument honours the general Banda Singh Bahadur on the battlefield.
