Kepong Metropolitan Park

Kepong Metropolitan Park is a large recreational park on the northern edge of Kuala Lumpur, built around a former mining pool now forming a broad lake. Its wide lawns, jogging and cycling tracks and lakeside paths make it a popular weekend destination for families and fitness enthusiasts. Boating and fishing are permitted on the water, and shaded picnic areas dot the grounds. Adjacent to a major forest research reserve, it offers open green space and water on the city's fringe, away from the denser central parks.
