Tianjin Museum

Set beside a park in the Hexi district, this museum occupies a swan-shaped building that curves around a reflecting pool. Its collections are strong in Chinese painting and calligraphy, jade, ceramics and coins, reflecting the wealth of the historic treaty port. Displays also cover Tianjin's modern history as a hub of foreign concessions and early industry.
