This pioneering vineyard on the shore of Lake Wanaka is celebrated as much for its setting as its wine, with rows of vines sloping down toward the lake against a backdrop of mountains. One of the earliest producers in the region, it helped establish the area's reputation for cool-climate wines. Its picturesque terraces are among the most photographed in the country's wine districts. The cellar door offers tastings with an expansive view over the water and peaks.
