Roseau Cathedral

The Cathedral of Our Lady of Fair Haven is a Gothic Revival Roman Catholic church in central Roseau, built in stages through the 19th century from local volcanic stone. Its dark cut-stone walls, pointed windows, and stained glass reflect the French Catholic heritage of the island. The interior contains carved wooden furnishings and murals, and the building has been repaired after repeated hurricane damage. It stands as the principal place of worship for Dominica's Catholic majority and a landmark of the capital.
