This Gothic Revival Anglican church stands on a cliff edge some 250 metres above the Atlantic in the parish of Saint John, commanding one of the widest views on the island. The present building, completed in 1836, replaced earlier churches destroyed by hurricanes and features pointed arches, a pulpit of carved wood, and a graveyard containing the tomb of Ferdinando Paleologus, a descendant of Byzantine emperors. The breezy churchyard is a popular vantage point over the eastern coast.
