McMichael Canadian Art Collection

The McMichael Canadian Art Collection is a gallery set in wooded grounds at Kleinburg, north of Toronto, devoted to Canadian art with a special focus on the landscape painters of the Group of Seven. The rustic log-and-stone galleries display iconic paintings of the northern wilderness alongside strong holdings of Indigenous and Inuit art. Outdoor trails connect to a memorial site where several of the founding artists are buried on the property. The setting among trees and ravines echoes the very landscapes hung on its walls.
