The main art museum of the University of Texas at Austin holds one of the largest university collections in the country, strong in European Old Masters, Latin American modern and contemporary art, and prints and drawings. On its plaza stands Austin, a luminous stone chapel designed by Ellsworth Kelly and completed after his death, filled with colored-glass windows and a totemic wood sculpture. Inside, galleries range from Renaissance altarpieces to large contemporary installations.
