Along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, this small museum holds one of the largest collections of works by the French sculptor Auguste Rodin outside Paris. Opened in 1929 through the gift of theater magnate Jules Mastbaum, it occupies an elegant Beaux-Arts pavilion set behind a formal garden. A cast of The Thinker greets visitors at the gate, while inside are versions of The Burghers of Calais, The Kiss, and studies for the monumental Gates of Hell.
