Hasht Behesht is a small Safavid garden pavilion in Isfahan whose name means the eight paradises, referring to its octagonal plan and eight surrounding rooms. Built as a royal pleasure palace, it sits within a park of old trees, pools, and channels once fed by the city's water system. Its open central hall is crowned by a domed ceiling of muqarnas and painted decoration, while the outer arches frame views into the garden. Visitors can walk the shaded terraces and study its surviving tilework and stucco.
