The Palestinian Museum is a cultural institution near Birzeit, just north of Ramallah, dedicated to the history, society, and culture of the Palestinian people. Opened in 2016, its award-winning contemporary building of pale stone sits amid terraced gardens planted with native species, overlooking the surrounding hills. It mounts exhibitions on heritage, art, and identity and runs research programmes with a wide diaspora network. Its architecture and landscaped grounds are a notable modern landmark in the central West Bank.
