An early medieval church in the Tavush region of northeastern Armenia, near the village of Voskepar, dating from around the seventh century. Built of stone in a compact domed plan, it is regarded as one of the well-preserved examples of the early church architecture of the period. It stands amid the wooded hills of the region close to the border. Its antiquity and the survival of its harmonious original form make it a notable monument for those interested in the roots of Armenian ecclesiastical building, set in a quiet rural landscape.
