The ruins of a large seventh-century cathedral in the town of Talin in the Aragatsotn region of Armenia, one of the more ambitious churches of its era. Partly collapsed over the centuries, its surviving apse retains traces of early frescoes, and the arcaded exterior shows the refined stonework of the period. A smaller, well-preserved church stands nearby within the same historic site. Set on the highland plain in view of Mount Aragats, the cathedral is a notable stop for travellers exploring the early Christian monuments of the region.
