The Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave is a limestone cavern beneath Pokhara that combines a Shiva shrine with a subterranean stretch of the Seti River, entered opposite the Devi's Fall where the river plunges underground. A long descending passage leads past stalactite formations to a chamber where the falling water roars through the rock. The cave is both a pilgrimage site and a natural spectacle, lit and railed for visitors. Damp corridors create an atmospheric route into the hillside.
