Set in a restored former tea factory on a hillside outside Kandy, this museum traces the history of Sri Lanka's famous tea industry. Old machinery, rollers and drying equipment are preserved across several floors, illustrating the processing methods that turned the highlands into a global centre of tea production. Exhibits honour the pioneers who established the plantations after coffee cultivation collapsed. An upper-floor tearoom offers samples with views over the surrounding hills.
