This gleaming white marble temple crowns a rocky hill overlooking Hyderabad's twin lakes and skyline. Built in the 20th century by the industrialist Birla family and dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, it fuses Dravidian, Rajasthani and Utkala architectural styles across its carved shrines and towers. Devotees climb the slope for darshan and for sweeping views over the city, particularly striking at dusk when the marble glows. The absence of traditional bells and an emphasis on serene open terraces distinguish it from older temples.
