A large central park in Busan created on the site of a former military base that had served both Japanese colonial and, later, foreign garrison uses. Opened in 2014, its landscaped grounds feature lawns, water features, forested walks, and a history pavilion that interprets the layered military past of the land now returned to public use. The park has become a major green lung and recreation ground for residents, hosting festivals and events, and it stands as a symbol of the city reclaiming a long-restricted quarter for civic life.
