This classical palace complex sits on a high bank of the Neris River in a park on the northern edge of Vilnius. Built for a bishop in the late eighteenth century, its surviving wings and outbuildings stand among terraces and old trees overlooking the valley. Once a grand residence, the estate later served scientific institutions and now forms part of a regional park. Walking trails link the palace to viewpoints, ponds and woods, making it a peaceful destination combining architecture and nature near the capital.
