Louwman Museum

This museum holds one of the oldest private collections of automobiles in the world, assembled over generations and displayed in a purpose-built gallery on the edge of The Hague. Its holdings range from the earliest steam and petrol vehicles through classic sports cars, racing machines and cars owned by famous figures. Beyond the vehicles, it presents automotive art, posters and mascots that trace the culture of motoring. The elegant, gently sloping galleries guide visitors chronologically through more than a century of transport history.
