Alcazaba of Málaga

This Moorish citadel rises in stepped terraces above the port of Málaga, its double ring of walls linked to the higher Gibralfaro castle by a fortified corridor. Horseshoe arches, courtyards and gardens survive inside the eleventh-century defences.
