A Benedictine abbey crowning the bald summit of Łysa Góra in the Świętokrzyskie Mountains, long a pilgrimage site tied to relics of the Holy Cross. The complex sits within an ancient fir forest and pagan stone rampart. Its baroque church and cloister passed through Benedictine, Oblate and state hands over the centuries.
