Ravenna's neoclassical opera house, opened in 1852 and named after the poet Dante Alighieri, who is buried in the city. Designed by the Meduna brothers who rebuilt La Fenice, it hosts opera, dance and the Ravenna Festival. The interior mirrors the Venetian model.
