A deep fjord-like inlet on the Pacific coast where rainforest ridges plunge into calm, sheltered water that humpback whales use as a nursery. Boardwalk trails cross mangroves, and boat trips from Nuquí or El Valle combine whale watching with visits to Emberá communities.
