A high-elevation park straddling the Cerro de la Muerte massif, protecting oak cloud forest and páramo between 2,000 and 3,000 meters. Its mossy trails are among the best places in Central America to spot resplendent quetzals and highland hummingbirds. Cold mornings and frequent mist give the forest an otherworldly character.
