A coastal park near Uvita protecting beaches, mangroves, and the reef around a sandbar shaped uncannily like a whale's tail. Humpback whales from both hemispheres pass through, giving the park one of the longest whale-watching seasons anywhere. At low tide visitors can walk out along the tombolo itself.
