A remote Costa Maya village where a sandy malecón runs alongside calm, reef-sheltered water. Outside of cruise ship hours it returns to a sleepy rhythm of beach bars and dive shops, and the nearby Banco Chinchorro atoll offers some of the best diving in the Mexican Caribbean.
