A broad river descending from the Blue Mountains through banana country to the sea near Port Antonio. Poled bamboo rafts, a tradition started by banana workers and popularized by Errol Flynn, carry pairs of passengers on a slow three-hour drift between jungle banks. Raft captains stop at swimming holes and riverside cook shops along the way.
