An uninhabited archipelago off Cuba's southern coast protected as a marine park since the 1990s, with some of the healthiest reef ecosystems left in the Caribbean. Liveaboard boats bring small numbers of divers to swim among goliath grouper, sharks, and dense coral gardens. Access is deliberately restricted, so trips require advance booking through licensed operators.
