The northernmost point of Mauritius, a small fishing village known for its red-roofed Notre Dame Auxiliatrice chapel framed against the sea. The viewpoint looks straight out to Coin de Mire and the other northern islets. Its name recalls shipwrecks and the 1810 British landing that decided the island's colonial fate.
