Zombitse-Vohibasia National Park

A transitional forest park straddling the road between Isalo and Toliara, where humid eastern and dry western ecosystems meet. Birdwatchers come for Appert's tetraka, a species found nowhere else, and short circuits also turn up sifakas and standing baobabs. Its compact trails make it an easy half-day stop.
