A small islet off the southern tip of Île Sainte-Marie, separated from it by a narrow channel crossed by pirogue. Palm-fringed beaches, a handful of low-key lodges and no roads give it a slower pace than its larger neighbour. The shallow lagoon is well suited to swimming and paddling.
