Skeleton Coast

A fog-bound shoreline where the Namib Desert meets the cold Atlantic, littered with shipwrecks, whale bones and seal colonies. Its stark dune fields and gravel plains support surprisingly hardy desert wildlife, and access to the remote northern reaches is largely by fly-in safari.
