Angola's largest park occupies the northern reaches of the Namib Desert, where gravel plains, dunes, and welwitschia plants meet a fog-bound Atlantic shore. Semi-nomadic Himba and Mucubal communities live within its boundaries, and oryx and springbok are returning under new management.
