Cameroon's best-known savanna reserve spreads across Sahelian floodplains near Lake Chad, where giraffes, elephants, antelope, and huge flocks of waterbirds gather at seasonal waterholes. The flat, open terrain makes wildlife easy to spot from vehicle tracks.
