Lanikai Beach

Lanikai Beach extends along a quiet residential neighborhood on Oʻahu's windward coast, presenting a narrow strip of fine white sand backed by lush green hills. The two small Mokulua Islands offshore anchor the horizon and reflect in the shallow turquoise water at low tide, making this beach one of the most frequently cited photography subjects in the state. Morning light falls directly on the Mokulua Islands from the beach, producing soft, warm reflections in the glassy inshore water.
