A desert town in eastern Utah at the confluence of outdoor recreation areas, situated between Arches and Canyonlands national parks and along the Colorado River. Moab is internationally recognized for mountain biking, particularly the Slickrock Bike Trail and Whole Enchilada routes, as well as four-wheel-drive trails such as Hell's Revenge. The town serves as the primary base for visitors to both parks and offers river rafting, climbing, and canyoneering operations. Main Street is concentrated with outfitters, restaurants, and lodging.
