Bodega Bay is a small fishing harbor at the southern end of Sonoma County's coastline, framed by the protected bay that cuts inland behind Doran Beach. The headland above the bay provides views north along the Sonoma Coast and west toward the open Pacific. The harbor supports an active commercial fishing fleet, and the nearby Bodega Head State Park offers cliffside trails with winter whale watching opportunities.
