McWay Falls is an 80-foot tiered waterfall that drops directly onto a secluded cove beach within Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park along the Big Sur coast. The striking combination of turquoise water, white sand, and the curtain of falling water makes it one of the most recognizable coastal images in California. A short trail from the parking area leads to overlook platforms above the cove.
