An island group of approximately 20 volcanic and coral islands west of Viti Levu, the Mamanuca Islands are among the most accessible of Fiji's outer islands, reachable by high-speed catamaran from Port Denarau. The group includes the famous surf break of Cloudbreak off Tavarua Island, considered one of the heaviest left-hand reef breaks in the world. The sheltered lagoon between islands supports snorkelling, diving, and kayaking.
