Cape Le Grand National Park lies 50 kilometres east of Esperance on Western Australia's south coast, protecting a series of white-sand beaches set between granite headlands and peaks of the Le Grand Range. Thistle Cove and Hellfire Bay contain sand of such purity and clarity of water that they are frequently included among Australia's finest beaches. The park's 50-kilometre Coastal Trail connects the major beaches on foot, traversing heath and granite country above the Southern Ocean.
