Burnham Park is the central public park of Baguio City in the Cordillera highlands of Luzon, designed by American urban planner Daniel Burnham in 1905 as part of his master plan for the city. The artificial lake at its centre is navigated by pedal boats, and the surrounding open lawns serve as the venue for major public gatherings and trade fairs throughout the year. Baguio's position at 1,500 metres elevation gives Burnham Park a temperate climate distinctive among lowland Philippine parks.
